A serial number and individual documentation is created for each assembly. The Aluminum Alloy Frame, Hanger Plate, and Clevis are all cast from 356T6 aluminum to ensure high performance and long life. Solid aluminum sheave wheels give a lifetime quality ruggedness. When ordering specify cable diameter so that the cable used is fully supported in the cable groove. Sabtex Sheaves have a cable capture feature which virtually eliminates cable jumping off the sheave. This feature greatly facilitates rigging. As an option we offer a three piece wheel that has a replaceable steel rim or center. Brass Spacers of moderate hardness are used to protect valuable frame assembly components from wear, and are easily and inexpensively replaced. The Swivel Bolt joins the Clevis and Hanger Block and the design passed a 70,000 lb yield strength test. The Clevis Bolt has a comfortably sized knurled aluminum knob, the material is 17-4 stainless steel with a yield strength rating of 110,000 lbs. Extremely corrosion resistant materials and high quality serviceable bearings contribute to many years of dependable service. The easy-loading design gives your field personnel maximum convenience and ease of rigging. In addition, the unique CAPTURED CABLE PATH protects your valuable wireline from damaging jams caused by jumping sheave.
